Komodo version 5 is live!
Here at Komodo HQ we are delighted to announce that Komodo Version 5, with some exciting new curriculum areas and customisation features, is finally up and running!
Telling the time
First up, our new Time curriculum introduces three new highly visual Komodo levels to help children get to grips with this conceptually difficult topic.
These new levels will automatically be assigned to learners as soon as their app updates.
Text to speech
We've added a new AI text-to-speech feature so you can have the instructions for each lesson read aloud. Great for younger kids who are still learning to read, just tap on the text to hear it read out.
New customisation controls
We've also introduced some new ways to customise your app experience in the parent dashboard. In the learning settings you'll see a new "maximum lesson questions" setting to limit the number of questions per lesson.
The Parent dashboard is the go-to place for tracking learners, managing your account and customising Komodo.
You can explore your own parent dashboard here, or check out the guide that we've put together for first timers.
Updating your Komodo app
In many cases your app will update automatically, but you can check by tapping on the Komodo logo at the bottom of the menu screen.
If yours hasn't updated yet, we've made this guide to the next steps for you here.
About Komodo – Komodo is a fun and effective way to boost primary maths skills. Designed for 4 to 11 year olds to use in the home, Komodo uses a little and often approach to learning maths (20 minutes, three to five times per week) that fits into the busy family routine. Komodo helps users develop fluency and confidence in maths – without keeping them at the screen for long.
